petit racing susp settings info, copy?

hi all

i've only just got my FD and am finding it a bit of a handful in the handling department

previous owner had race springs on height/damping adjustable shocks and had lowered the car with lots of negative camber provided by an expensive race alignment

all fine and dandy if i wanted a race car and was already experianced with this kind of car and it's performance.....

only i'm not

i want to get it back to as stock as possible and then when i understand what i'm doing move back towards a racier setup

to that end i've just installed stock suspension and springs and now i want to have a go at reducing some of the fierce negative camber that is ripping hell out of the inside of the 255/40's on the back, no need to destroy them while i'm climbing the learning curve

searching has turned up that petit racing used to have some basic suspension setting setups on their web in the FAQ section

the search also turned up that that info has now been removed...

anyone able to repost it to the list?

i know i can take it to an alignment shop and get them to do it but i'd rather have a little fiddle and learn more about the car before i do that

so far just want to measure? the negative camber and then maybe halve it

will also look to see if there is any toe out in the rear, (it maybe just my mug driving causing it to donut everytime i hit the gas;o)

will try to take a few detail photos of the rear so any of you susp. gurus can dispense your pearls of wisdom and stop me sticking this missle backwards into a bus stop

eric e

all my motorsport experiance is on bikes, so camber, castor and alignment are things i have to first learn about then learn to adjust
