painting rims

im looking to get some rims, and i have found some that come with tires mounted for 1grand, my question is, if i want to have the rims painted, would they have to take the tire off?

yes and no yes it you want to paint the lip no if you don't and dont mind taping off the tires and having to deal with th bulk of the tire

yes if you want them powder coated. painted rims look ugly ask me how i know. powder coating rims goes for around 150 - 250$

no all 4 rims for that much. I got a quote from a local shop in my town that said it ranges from 150 to 200 depending on the size and color. But check somewhere local in sure it won't go over 300 or 400.
