Other vehicle coilovers?

Are there any other cars that have coilovers that would fit or be a close fit to a 93 FD RX7?

If I had a set of ohlins/penske/jrz race coilovers for say a porsche or bmw, would I be able to have them rebuilt and fitted to work on an FD or would I just have to sell and find one that was FD specific?

porsche and BMW both use strut fronts, so no go there. If its a shock (like the rears of both), then it just depends on the length.

it shouldnt be too hard to use universal (1/2" rodend) race shocks and fabricate mounts for them. Just need the right lengths.
