Talking ordering my new BBS's today.... want to double check my numbers

Hey guys... if someone can help me out real quick that would be great. I'm getting 18.9's in front and 18x10's in back. Offsets would be +45 and +50 respectively. Will this be okay? Thanks a million guys.

Yup should be ok. Make sure the caliper clearances are ok for the fronts (9 x 18, 45-mm offsets). You need at least 40-mm pad height! If the BBS fitment table says "rear fitment only", that's a good indication that the wheel spokes will be flat giving you the fat rim lip effect, but inadequate front brake caliper clearance. Good luck!

Well I'm buying just the wheels for now. Tires will be coming in the next week or so as soon as I find a tire I like that are in those sizes and fits nicely. (any suggestions are welcome) But unless www.bbs-japan.co.jp is lying I should be cool. They claim that the 18x9's are for the fronts. But if by some chance they don't clear, can I use spacers? If not then I will get new brakes all together (I'm going to anyway).Thank you guys for replying so quickly. You guys are a life saver! Damn I love this forum. Major props to SleepR1. I've seen you help alot of people in the wheel section.

Justin, if the BBS Japan site fitment table doesn't say "rears only", then you're cool. Spacers will be tough...you might need to roll front fenderlips if you use a 4 to 5-mm spacer. Thanks for the props. It's nice to know good advice doesn't go unnoticed

Cool! Post pics when you get them on the car. Is your car black? Would look great on a black FD Tire sizes suggestion: 255/35-18 on 9 x 18 fronts, and 285/30-18 on 10 x 18s in back. I prefer NONDIRECTIONAL tires so I have more freedom in rotation. This is especially helpful with staggered fr/rr fitments. You can rotate each axle side-to-side. P-Zero Asimmetricos, Pilot MXX3s, or Sport Contact 2s would be my choice. Enjoy the new setup!

FWIW,
I didn't see any 9" wheels that were of suitable offset for an FD and NOT marked rear only, sorry dide.

In fact, I believe the "approved" fitment is an 18x8 front, 18x9 rear.... They do have the 8.5 +36 some people were talking about using w/ the RG-R... but no 9" front, and no 10" rear....

The only 10" they have is a +65!

You're right about the 10's but the 18x9 (type 901...about the second or third down) is 18x9, offset +45, 5.114.3 bolt patter and is indeed listed "f" for fronts. I was getting the rear custom made. I have to wait till tomarrow before I hear any news. I will keep you guys posted on my experience. "Wish me luck.

Note that is says disk type: "F", but theres also a check under the next category over called "rear only"...

I assume that the "disk type" means the center, and "f" and "R" mean front or rear, but the next category over woulds seem to contradict that. I would refer back to the wemail Manny got from BBS saying that size in RG-R wouldn't work... and make sure you get confirmation (and a money-back guarantee) from BBS or your vender that the wheel will clear your brakes... it would really suck to order an entire set of wheels from japan that won't fit.

Dumbass question but you can get 285's on the rear with a 50mm offset without having to roll arches, even if lowered somewhat?

Thanks
