225 50 15 is the widest that will fit and has the closest rolling diameter. the stock tires (205 50 15) has a diameter of 24.7 inches where as the 225 50 15 is 23.8, so it will throw your speedometer off but not by much

in 225/50/15 you can get falken ziex ze-512's for 54$ per tire, their ok tires, rated as ultra high performance all season, ive had a set and they stick well on the street, if you're going for more stickyness then you'll want something like the Falken Azenis RT-615 or Hankook Ventus RS-2 (great auto-x tires) but i dont see them in the 225/50/15 size, you can get Toyo RA-1's (R compound) in 225/50/15 for 128$ per tire, why would you pay 170$ per tire for dunlop sp's, they better have some kind of gold lining or something.
