Opinoin on these rims (old schoool look)

I am considering getting a set of these. Have any of you heard of any one using a set. The company is called Kodiak racing wheels. They are all billet and hand assembled. Im looking at a set like 13inch by 8-10 wide with super deep offset. Do you guys like the lookds of these? I really like the ones with the smi red inner mag but i also like the gold star ones on the front page. I would probably get my centers in black though. Opions wanted.

Really nice, not bad price either.

I didn't see a section for bolt patterns though.

Those are cool. Not sure on the price though. I will call them and see if they offer wholesale pricing. I am interested in some of their wheels.

CCW is probably cheaper. Not sure if he makes that diameter though.

hey I like 'em!

are these going on the REPU in the Sig, or a different vehicle? You're gonna have some hella fenders if you're going for 8-10" wheels aren't ya?

Rishe, last I checked, most of the bigwig custom wheels comapnies (like CCW) don't really offer crap in 13"

I've seen these wheels many times in person. They're really more a racing wheel than bling, bling factor. Personally, I think there are better looking wheels for the price. I will vouch that they are probably the lightest forged wheel you can buy for that price range. Guestimating 1-2 lbs lighter than an equivalent CCW wheel. But, I'd still go for some CCW's before the Kodiaks. Slightly cheaper and better looking, IMHO.

Plus, what WIDE-*** tire do you need for 13" wheels????? 335's or something?

They are all machined in house, and you give them the dimensions of what you want and you get em. All custom as far as i know. Basically they can do any bolt pattern that we would want. As far as the weight, i called and they wouldent say cus i guess they used to give out weights but weights varry some and some people got pissed off when their wheels weighed luike .5 pounds more than they estimated, so they dont give out weights. But i guess they are really light, as light as any other billet race wheel.

No they are going on my RX3 i have a set of fender flairs that i think will allow my to run wide rims/tires. And as far as tires that are that wide. You cant get street tires in 13" any more that are wider than 205's, as far as i have been able to find. I will run race slicks on em. Its more of track car and friday night type deal.

Thanks for the opinion. I really like the CCW's, they are really cool but i dont think they make em in my size. Its really hard to find a good looking old school type wheel these days, they are all these momo, konig etc. crap.

Are you looking to buy them for track only duty or for street driving? I am pretty sure that Kodiak wheels are race only. And like most race only wheels they probalby will not have what I was told is called a "DOT bead" on the inside lip of the wheel.

Personally I think they are ugly but if you are using them on the track just to go fast then looks should not matter.

Thanks for the input, I will use them some on the street, I like in a semi rural area and i can get away with running slicks on the street. People told me that you cant run a PP on the street too, but i do any ways. thanks though for the opinoin.
