AB Opinions on Sport Edition brand wheels?

I am looking to put together a cheap wheel/tire combination for auto-x and some hpde events in my 87 rx-7 gx. Unfortunately I am presently cursed with 4-lug hubs and don't have the money to shell out for a 5-lug conversion and wheels/tires right now. I have been poking around trying to find some 4x114.3 wheels + tires locally (used) and everything I find ends up having the incorrect center bore and since I believe I require hubcentric wheels I can't just run them as they are, and I am having trouble finding hubcentric rings to make any of the wheels I can find fit my 59.6mm hubs (do I have that right, 59.6mm?). I am looking at 15" wheels since I can't find any good tires for the 14" rims I have right now, and 17" wheels are much more expensive (and generally so are tires for them).

Anyways, I ended up resorting to tire rack and have found the following wheels
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Price

Unfortunately, they are a brand that I can't find any real information or experiences about when I google them, it seems they are exclusive to tire rack and are not terribly popular. I am interested in them because they seem to be reasonably light for their size, TireRack includes the correct hub centric rings, mounts and installs tires for free and has sumitomo htr-200s for a really good price on them.

Has anybody here bought sport edition wheels? What do you think of them? Am I wasting my money on garbage wheels?

Any advice would be appreciated.

By the time I get these wheels + tires shipped to near the border, drive down to pick them up and pay the taxes they will set me back ~$810. I was hoping not to be blindly gambling with this kind of money. Does anybody here have any experience with them?

I will be hitting up some local wheel/tire shops on saturday to see what I can find locally as well, but it would be nice to know what I am dealing with regarding these wheels.

When even the guys from tire rack who sponsor this forum and have these wheels produced with this brand specifically for them don't come on here and say they are decent then I get nervous.

Something you may want to consider is a bolt on conversion. I am dealing with the same issues. I have not made up my mind yet but I am leaning towards it. But you can get a bolt on 5lug conversion for about 120 a pair. http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Adapters_s/25.htm
