Opinions on new wheels for 87 Turbo II
I've saved up about 900 dollars in the last 6 weeks, and I haven't really gotten to put money into my car other than gas and small repairs here and there since I bought it, so I figured soon, after I get a couple hundred more dollars, would be a good time to play with it as the good weather is here.
However, something I really lack knowledge in is the area of tires and sizes and what not. I've been looking at the charts to get an idea of what to go with in terms of sizes. I'm keeping the Turbo II wheels to put tires better suited for winter, as Indiana has stupid weather that time of year, so I'm more in the market for a performance tire. Current tires on the stock wheels are Bridgestone Pole Position S03's.
While I'm not sure about what tires to go with, I have my wheel selection down to two:

I have seen the 5zigens on an FC before, and they look awesome, but I haven't seen the EVO5's on one yet, so I'm torn. Does anyone have a picture with the EVO5's on?
Since I'm not going to upgrade to a much bigger wheel, from 16x7 to 17x7, will rubbing be a concern? And since I obviously don't want to ride higher, will a lower profile tire help compensate for the extra inch? Or should I also invest in some Racing Beat springs?
Sorry for all the questions, but like I said, this is just something I don't have any experience in and never really bothered reading up on it until recently. So I figured it would be best to ask.
This is her, she is just dieing for some new kicks to roll around on.
Thanks guys!
