offset question. would this fit on a FD?
The fronts should fit fine, and according to jimlab's wheel/tire size calculator you will only have .09" of clearance on the rear inside. I'd wait for the experts to chime in, but that's cutting it too close IMO.
Fronts are fine, rears are a little high offset (never thought I'd say that for an FD!). You'll probably clear the trailing arms but it will be close. You could run a 1/4-inch spacer (6mm) at the rears, that would work great.
Sounds like used wheels from an S2K or IS300. Since we have run 10 +52 on FD in rear before with the M2 Trailing links, I think that they can work but might look a bit sunken in on the rear fender.
So:
1. Get the trailing links, FD guys can refer you to Rotary Extreme or someone who now makes them.
2. 9.5 +55 should work in theory. We've done 10.0" +52 offset with 285/30/18. the 9.5 " +55 has less backspacing so it should work fine.
