offset question , read Jim Lab's question.

Alright I am aiming to get the CE-28Ns in a 17x9.5 and a 17x10 probelm though the 9.5 wheels biggest offset is +47mm jim lab says use a +50 mm offset. will those 3 mm be a problem? Te rear is also available in a +45 at the max will this 1mm be a huge problem, will fender rolling be needed? This means the wheel will sit 3mm further in the fender than what it says to use in front and about 1mm further towards.

Note: smaller offset = wheels stick out more. 9.5" wheels with a +47mm offset will stick out more than 9.5" wheels with a +50mm offset. See: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

In general, I think those sizes/offsets could work. But you must realize that you are near the limits. Predicting whether they will rub for you is not possible with much certainty. Tires, driving style, alignment, driving environment, suspension setup, car to car variation, presence of fender liner screws, liners, etc. could all make the difference one way or the other.

9.5 +47 should work just fine....with fender rolling. With stiff springs and a reasonable ride height (ie, most lowering springs need not apply), you might even be able to get away with not rolling fenders.

10 +45 should work just fine in the rear with no fender rolling.

Well rolling the fenders wouldn't be a big problem. I just wouldn't want to. I guess there is only one way to find out.
