The reason is that you will need the money for fender flares, paint and other body work.
That will push your wheels more than an inch past your fender edge. I don't see how you would do it with the stock setup...
BTW, fender rolling doesn't give you that much space, maybe a millimeter or two.

no i didn't buy them. but i really wanted too, because i can get a really good deal. but i didn't think they would fit.
