Offset Help

I am looking at a set of RP03 in 18's according to the nifty "FD Wheel and Tire Sizing" excel spreadsheet. 18.9.5 +38 will fit in the rear with no problem according to the spreadsheet. The problem I’m concerned with is the front. I would like to run 18x8.5 in the front. The spreadsheet said an offset of +38. They of course don’t make an offset of +38 only +35. With an offset of +38, inside clearance is 1.29 and the outside is 0.24. When I place the number 35 in the offset column, the values change from 1.38 inside and 0.12 outside. The change is not too much and they are not negative numbers. Would I be safe in running the +35 offset in the front of 18x8.5? I have stock suspension, but will later upgrade to coilovers.

Thank you
Patrick

Are you gonna run 235/40 and 265/35? Even with these tire sizes it might be close. Sometimes we have FD's that rub in that fitment and others we don't. It all depends on your alignment, ride height, and suspension setup. For stock suspension and alignment you should have no problems as mentioned above.

I know the +35's were backordered last month but I can check on the ETA if you're interested in em. The 9.5's should be in stock.
