Offset gurus! Need advice on some 17 x 8's and 9's...

Yo,

Looking at a set of rims for a FC...

17 x 8 up front...my offset choices are +25 and +35...thinking of going with 225/45-17. So...which one +25 or +35?

17 x 9 out back, looks like my only choice is +15...for 255/40-17. Is that going to work?

Thanks in advance!

+35mm on all 4 corner is a safe bet for wider wheels... +40mm up front may bump the shock...The wheel won't but some tires will slightly rub the shock/coilover.

remember the smaller the 0ffset number, the more the wheel will stick out...

up front? no way! I don't think that will work for the rears either.

Keep in mind, its not the wheel that rubs, but more the tyre on the shock and or outer fender.
