OEM wheel weight 93-95 16" USDM ?
Does anybody know the weight of the stock 16" wheels? I've been looking at wheels at tirerack.com and wondered what stock wheels weigh.
Also do tires effect the weight much? I'm wondering as the wheel size increases do the tires actually stay about the same in weight since they become lower profile?
I'm thinking about going from the stock 16" to 17" and I would like to know if there will be an effect on ride. If I did anything I would like to find a 17" setup that is lighter than my stock setup. Maybe that is possible.

Yes, tires do vary in weight. Not all tires are created equally. Losing sidewall will affect ride quality. You'll have less sidewall to absorb road noise and bumps so more will be transmitted to the chassis. However some of that depends on the sidewall stiffness as well.

I've heard the stock wheel weight is about 14-15lbs, very light.
Second question... I've read from multiple sources that tires are over half the weight of the whole wheel-tire assembly. So, yes.
Third question. This is simple math. If you hold tire width constant while increasing the diameter of the wheel (lower profile), then tire weight should be less, assuming similar density tire compounds. When you change compounds and widths, though, things change.
I did not notice a difference going from stock 225-50R16 to 275-40R17 tires. I have CCW classics which should be fairly close to stock weight (just the wheels, tires weigh a LOT more lol). On CCW's site, they list the 18X12 Classic as being 21lbs, so I would assume my 17X10's are substantially less.
**Edit** Ignore most of what I said lol. +1 to what Mahjik said.

its not explicit in the parts catalog for the FD's but if you are trying to buy wheels for a newer car it is a question the parts guy will ask you.
