VT noob coilover issues. help a guy out.

I finally put on my powered by max coilovers and am having some minor problems or normal things, I don't know since its my first experience with coilovers.

1986 na, 5 spd, bone stock

1. I thought my binding problem (just noise) was something wrong but a well hidden article on pbm's website says that their pillowball mounts are tighter then other companies and that they will loosen up and stop binding the spring after they are broken in. so thats solved I guess

2. I have a *** right under my damper allen ***. it clicks just like the damper *** on top. what does that do? link, scroll down to the FC coils, mine are the old style but the tops seem the same http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?9

I am referring to the top **** in that pic, as they do not have the allen **** in the top in that pic. I thought the allen *** you slid in controls your damper settings but that other **** clicks the same way so am wondering if that does something else?

3. major problem. I have to take off at a snails pace and be real careful with my stock clutch on stock power on stock wheels with block tread summers 205/65/15 to not start spinning a wheel/wheels (I have an na open diff I believe so ya). this was not a problem before with my stock suspension. also chirps on downshifts with rev matching (synchros real bad in 2nd and 3rd). I lowered the car maybe an inch so far, I have an adjustable sublink but my camber seems ok. the tires look like they have a good contact patch. would preload have anything to do with it? was told that preload was set correctly (bought used with 0 driving miles) but will do it myself. also, when going into a corner even semi hard, it feels like I'm running a welded diff. one wheel starts to chirp and spin a little. I wonder if its just the extra torque that my suspension play no longer takes out since its a lot stiffer and that is just normal. I was looking into corner weights but do not have scales, any "backyard" method to getting it anywhere near what it should be?

posted in the drift section with no help in 2 1/2 days so thought I'd try here. sorry for the long post but wanted to give you guys as much info as I could so you can help me the best you can. thank you in advance. I have searched and read up on a number of things but need to be pointed in the right direction.
