new wheels for the wide FC
picked these up a few weeks ago brand new
18x10 ssr sp1 and they are SO SICK in person, wow
gonna run some 295/30 rears and 285/30 fronts in Advan Neova AD07
that will fill the fenders up a little better than the 285/275 17" setup last year
I cant freakin wait for it to get warm and dry here!!!!

well the dog was only $100 less than all four wheels, so he is much more $ per lb.

yeah I heard so many good things about them, I'm stoked for warmer weather!
those 285/30's definitely have a nice fat and wide footprint, theyre just sick in person.

Damn, you dropped a mint on those tires, I know that. Good to see someone spending some money on nice wheels and tires for an RX-7, instead of the Konig/Kumho Ecsta combo that's becoming all too common.
Btw, loved this pic

wow GoodfellaFD3S thanks man that means a lot coming from you wiht your purdy FD and super sick wheels! they will look totally sick on the black FC especially filling out the wide fenders. yeah my dog is funny as hell, he loves cruisin in the FC too, I took out the armrest just so that he has a nice comfy place to chill out.
I spent a lot so far but I did get good deals on this stuff, I would have never been able to afford them at full retail, oh hells no way, not at $390 per wheel and $370+ per tire.

lol... well, from gruppe-s the imported jdm ssr sp1 are over $520 each retail, ouch!
oh yeah these weigh a little over 23 pounds each. thats the same weight as my last years setup of +12 offset 17x10 5zigen fno1rc, and the +25 offset fno1rc weighed 21 pounds. I thought about the super light enkei rpf1 but I just like these sp1's a lot better.

Sweet. I know you like my VS-KFs, but man, drifting only! The 17x9.5s are 27lbs each and the 18x10.5 are a hefty 29 lbs!
YEAH. I was using my friend's TE37s last year and those feel like pieces of paper, they are so light. RPF1s are really cool because they are so readily available (and light!) I know Touge Factory has a good stock of RPF1s, and also my friend Chris Forsberg is selling some (in case you or anyone else wants more wheels).
Point is: For a road race car i'd do nothing but super light wheels. For drifting I don't care, in fact i kinda like the heavier wheels for some reason.
