New suspension

Im thinking of replacing my stock suspension wiht an aftermarket one but i dont have too much to spend, i have around 600 or 700. I was thinking of the racing beatk package. any suggestions? How low do you recomend lowering it?

What Mahjik said and add AGX to the shocks list and Tanabe to the spring list. RSR Springs seems to be on terminal backorder everywhere I've checked. If you're just wanting to replace worn out stuff so to speak then Tokico Blues are fine for shocks. After that you get into adjustable ones which are nice but how many of us take advantage of it driving on the street. For shocks....you need to do some searching to see if you want linear or progressive for the way you drive and how low you want the car to be. I would suggest the energy suspension kit to replace all your worn out bushings, then some shocks and springs that work for your budget and driving needs. You don't need new swaybars. As far as "lowering" your car, all the makers of springs give a "guideline" on how much they lower a car. The problem is how much sagging is there from the old springs. The car may be a 1/2 inch lower than when it was new and new springs might raise, lower or not change it at all but depending on what you go with change the ride stiffness. I think the rule of thumb is lowering up to one inch from stock and no worries on our cars. After that you may have problems with tire fitment up front depending on size and getting correct camber adjustment numbers in the rear which means you need to get a rear camber adjustment link from someone and that's another 100 bucks or more. So just guessing on prices... shocks 200 - 400 bucks, springs 150 - 350 bucks, bushings 100 bucks, rear camber adjuster 100 bucks and you've spent 500 - 900 bucks and then....you will need to get an alignment.
