Hello, I've been reading up on cars and how they work for the past few months, but one of the areas I've neglected is suspension and struts and all that. Could someone knowledgable please explain for me what exactly are coilovers, struts, springs? What do I need to do to lower my car?

Try to be very simple...

coilovers are struts and springs...The rx7 has coilovers..but when most ppl say coliover there usually mean height adjustable..which the OEM coilovers would not be. What do you need to lower you car ? New set of springs...some ppl will upgrade the struts at the sametime, because usually aftermarket struts or better suited for the aftermarket springs higher spring rates..
