New 18'' staggered wheels....let me know what you guys think :)

heres my new 18'' by 8.5 front w/2'' lip and 18'' by 9.5 rear w/3'' lip,
Front @20mm offset and rear @ 25mm. I will be using 225/40 tires so they should wrap around and not irritate any inner or out components.
I purchased the hyper silver set which is second from the left. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
-Dustin.

how much did they cost and where did you get them? Post some pics up when you get them installed.

I purchased just the wheels and they cost $800 shipped from Cali to Florida.
Heres my current set-up and you can see why I need new wheels.

I think that with 20mm offset in front and 25mm in rear, that the wheels will be flush with the fenders.

I will post pics soon,
-Thanks,
-Dustin.

225 sounds tiny for a 9.5" wheel... but w/e.

If you like them then more power to you. It's just not my personal preference.

ive got 8.5s with a 35mm offset in the front with 225s and they sit flush with the fender. and 9.5s with 35mm offset in the rear with 265s and the also sit flush. so just based on my experience with my wheels. ur wheels MIGHT stick out a little passed the fender cause of the offset.

I like these wheels, I think their really fresh looking with the hyper silver paint and polished lips. Look great with red calipers and fresh black paint

I like the wheels too, but a 225 on a 9.5" wheel is going to look horrible, not to mention probably unsafe. I am running 225's on an 8" wheel in the front and the tire is stretched to fit. You've got an inch and half more, scary.

Paint your car. No matter what rims you get your car will still look like crap. I hate to be brutal, but the truth hurts.

I don't like these rims, but I don't like most. I'm very very picky about rims. I only have steelies on my 323 because it's pointless to upgrade.

I going with a single stage urethane Black paint, plus clear coat.
Also I use Intrax springs, w/Tokico HP's The ride is very nimble. Mabie a set of HKS coil's in the future.

Oh god.

215/45/17 on 17x9.5. You guys can eat a D if you think its unsafe or it won't work...

And here's what I like to do with my unsafe tyres:

Original poster, I have pics of my car with 225/40/18 on 18x9.5s up front if you'd like to see. Different offsets and fenders than you, though.

I don't agree with the wheels or the tires that he's planning on running to be honest, but why does everyone always say that it will NEVER work and be UNSAFE? I blows my mind.
