Need some tires for the track, suggestions please :)

well in november im gonna be running at the local road course, a 1.4 mile, 19 turns.

now im gonna be runnin 15" rota slipstream wheels, what tires should i run?? Im thinking either the BF Goodrich G-Force KD or Yokohama A032R, but if you think of anything better that will perform better, im open to all suggestions

I believe the BFG KD's only come in 17" or larger the last time I checked. A032R's give a harsh ride, are noisy as hell, and have minimum tread depth, but a good tire aside from that.

Look into the Bridgestone Pole Position S-03's also. Great tire, full tread depth, killer handling/traction/turn in review, long lasting, and good price.

Tirerack.com has them.

The review:

225/15's all the around will be the ticket on your car!

I've got 15" Slipstreams on my daily driver with 205/50-15 Falken Azenis Sport tires (they might be 55 series, but I can't remember right now). These tires seem to be popular for AutoX and are so damn cheap that I suggest you at least try them before getting something more expensive. They have been great on the street for me.

Screw those.. (the azenis are good, there are better)

hands down. Kuhmo Exstca(sp) V700's, esp if you are worried bang for the buck. If all you want is bang, and have lots of bucks, Hoosier R3S03's.

Post in the racing section and you'll get more answeres..

i hope you mean for the track and not for the street?

kumho V700 Victoracer of the kumho V700 ESTA. both very good, forgiving and good wear.

If not, go for the toyo RA1 which is a good tires you can drive to and from the track with.

The yoko AO32 is okay, but not nearly as good.

And if you want Super STICKY, hoosier.

I run the Kuhmos right now, ran Hoosier A3S03's before that.... Those were cool
