need new shoes

please recommend some tires for my fd. i want to go with 245/45/16's on stock rims. it should fit. thanks. kevin...

from what everybody tells me Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position. i had the s-02 and they were very sticky. my current ones, even though it's wider, feels like it has less grip, could just be in my head, but yea, you probably can't go wrong with the s-03

Depends on your price point. There are a few good tires for the money. My all time fave inexpensive tire (in 255/40-17) is Yokohama AVS Intermediate, but they're sold out, and out of production (dammit!). Guess I'll be going back to Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico N2s or maybe I'll try those cool Continental ContiSport Contact 2 N2s?

thanks sleep. i was going to mount them on my stock rims so i have to stay with 16's. thanks ttb was thinking about getting the potenzas also. maybe i should stop being cheap and get somes rims while i am at it... volks gtns maybe. thanks.
