Need help with tires

I just gotten myself new rims. Will take pic of it, once i get my camera back from my sis. Well there 17x7 offset are +42mm. I got an FD and going to install tein spring and koni shock. If that helps. I do alittle bit of street racing when a V8 has ***** to race me. I also do drifting as well. So i'm looking for a good size and a reliable tire. Thanx for the help guys

???

stock FD is 16x8

why would you go to 17x7
17 is needlessly taller
7 is skinnier

put your stockers back on or get real wheels.
if you insist on 17, 17x9 minimum IMO.

btw: good street/track tires = falken azeni rt615.
btw2: brand new tires + drifting = bald tires and wasted $$$.
