Need help with 18x9 or 18x10 offset.

I am thinking about getting the Volk 57F-Pro and I am thinking about going 18x9 in the front and should I go with the 40 or 47 offset. The 18x10 I was thinking going 37 or 40 offset. Just curious if that would work.

I want the rims to look flush to the side of the car. I will roll the fender if I need to. I just do not want it to rub on anything.

Sorry guys, I searched and could not find anything specific. Thanks

If you're ordering them from an authorized Volk dealer they can actually look it up by your car tell you the best offset. I forgot the offset on my wheels, but they're flush. I'd have to look at the receipt I guess.

You would run the +47 18x9 up front and the 18x10 +40 in back. Rolled fenders would be required in the rear. Proper tire sizes would be 255/35 and 285/30 (or 275/35 for the ptrhahn fitment). MAKE SURE that the 18x9 +47 will clear the brakes BEFORE ordering....

You can avoid rolling the rear fenders and have rotatable wheels by going with a 18x9.5 +50 offset all around. Some good wheels in this size/offset are the SSR Competition and SSR GT-2/GT-7s (from the Tire Rack).

Hey Rynberg,
I talked to the dealer that has the 57F Pro and he said that the fitment for the 18x9 in the front with the 47 offset wil rub when you make a U-Turn, is that true or should I get the 40 to be safe? Also, in the rear I was thinking maybe 37offset because in that style rim it is either 37 or 47. Thanks

+40 sticks out further than +47! Your dealer either meant something else or he's a clueless moron and you should shop somewhere else (give Rishie at AutoRnD a call).

A +40 9" wheel up front will definitely require rolled fenders. A +37 10" wheel in the rear will also require rolled fenders. Offsets that far off of stock will also be hard on the wheel bearings and will slightly affect suspension geometry. It's just not worth it. There are many wheels out there that look as good as those wheels or better, and they'll actually fit.

Rynberg,
I totally understand what you mean. I could go with the 47offset in the front if I wetn 18x9 and the rear 18x10 I can go 40. Would you still require some fender rolling? Thanks
