Is it my shock ?

Can anyone tell me what this could be ?

My right tire is hitting my fender when I turn my steering wheel to the right while either going over/down any bump. It does not happen to my left side or the rear. I have Volk Type-3 18 inch wheels with 225/40/18 Nitto tires int he front. I used to run 245 and 235 but the rubbing was really bad that I had to change it.

can it be my shock ? it's pretty old. Tokico shocks about ~10 years old but has less than 5k miles on it. I'm also running H&R springs. Under normal driving, I don't see/hear/feel anything abnormal.

P.S I also don't see any leakage.

If you don't notice any other behavior, then it doesn't sounds like it. It's possible that your shock mounts are just more worn on that side than the other.

well since the shock only controls the bouncing done by the spring "compression and rebound control" is should be the spring if you see nothing else abnormal in the control arms. also i think the shock has a bumpstop that prevents bottoming out. it looks like a thick foam washer on the shock shaft. sometimes they degrade and crack to pieces. i cannot think of any other reasons. let me know so i know for future issues with my fd.
