My new wheels are in! Racing Sparco NT-R
I finally got 2 of my new Racing Sparco NT-R rims in this past week. The other 2 are on back order and should be here in a few more weeks. Just in time for spring
Anyways, they are 17x9. I weighed them on my scale and they are only 17.8lbs each!! I knew they were light which is part of the reason I went with them. I did get a pic of them on the scale, but it's hard to read. They are stamped on back with the inspectors name and size. They also came with a Japanese instruction book with some really funky cartoon characters.
I was also wondering if I should stick with 255/40/17s all the way around, or if I could run 275/40/17 in the rear. Thanks!
Here's a pic. Hopefully I will have them mounted in a few weeks.

Stay with the 255/40s all around. You'll get better neutral handling than with a staggered setup. BTW, what tires are you planning on going with?

Those are good tires, and if you are on a budget, the best bang-for-the-buck IMO are Falken Azenis'. Look into those.

Do you have any first hand experience with them?

with discount or with the tires? Discount is very reliable. the tires are very good, not as sticky as the azenis Sports, about the same level as the ES100

Yeah, nice! 17.8 lbs! That's over a pound lighter than my SSR Integral in the same size and offset (9 x 17, 45-mm)!
It's great to know that you don't have to spend a bundle to have high-performance, lightweight wheels!
Stay with the 255/40-17 tire size all around.
For budget-minded folks, the Yokohama ES100s would be my choice.
Please post pics with them on the car!

i would go with the es100. those are nice tires compared to the azenis sports as pictured above. i drive an astro van for work with those tires and it seems to wonder a lot. im always fighting to keep the van straight. with 2 years experience at a tire and wheel shop, id go with the es100.
Just got word my other 2 back-ordered rims shipped today and will be here next week.
I decided on these Yokohama's for my first set.

I will have the tires on by next Friday or Saturday and will get some pics up then.

Can't wait to see them on the car. They look AWSOME!
I'm saving up for some rims & tires as well so let us know how the wheel and tire package performs.
BTW how much is the complete cost?

Tires are $500
So $1500 total, not terrible.
Not until tomorrow or Friday on the pics. UPS has them scheduled for delivery today. If the tires come in today as well, I will get them installed tonight. Pics will be up by Saturday either way

I will take some pics as soon as this lame *** rain goes away!
