Michelin Question

Anyone on the forum running Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Competition tires? Do you like them? I am still on the FD stock rim and run a 245 45 16's on the rear and 225 50 16's on the front. Just trying to get some info on some tires best suited for the street and some HPDE events.

No doubt the Pilots are great tires…. But for street use I would use street tires, I have had great results with Bridgestone RE-050, and they are good on the track, and the Tire Rack has a good deal on them…. Comp tires can be slippery when it’s cold out, and also after lots of heat cycle and loose stickiness

Thanks for your input. I will look into the Bridgestones. Its starting to get difficult to find tires to fit the FD stock rim as of lately, or maybe its just me.
