Michelin Pilot XGT Z4s
I just got a set of 4 from my friend. Anyone have good experience with the tires? I got them in stock size and haven't installed yet. Right now I have a set of Pirelli P7000 245/45-16s but their tread days are numbered. I don’t know about going back to stock size… maybe when my Pirellis are dead.

No personal experience but here's what I've heard:
*as far as an all-season tire, they are supposed to be pretty good, but I really like the Dunlop SP5000 for an all-season (on my SE-R anyway).
*as compared to real performance tires, they are inferior in dry handling and braking
*I see you live in Virginia, but do you ever drive in snow? If not, then a "summer" style tire will give you much better dry grip (and probably better wet grip too). Stick with the well known good performers: Dunlop 8000, Yokohama AVS Sport, Bridgestone S-03s, Pirelli Asymmetrico or Rosso Sport, BG Goodrich KDW, etc.
*if you have to drive in any snow (god help you), you should be using dedicated snow tires anyway.
