I am interested in getting a good looking set of mesh BBS style wheels, but dont really want to pay a million bucks.

I like these:

but offset is a bit out.. I have coilovers which will help, but these may sit too far into the fender. I want to run 245's all around btw.

So, i have seen mixed opinions on spacers - but if i run with a 5mm spacer would I need longer studs?

or, any other recommendations on 17" mesh wheels?

I 5mm spacer is about the upper limit of what most would trust using stock studs.
It would put the offset @ 35 which is spot on for a 17x8.

Get the wheels, get the spacers, good to go.
