You can run 17X9 +27 all around with coilovers and a fender roll up front. You can run 235/40/17 with no problems. You can go up to 255/40/17, but it may be too big depending on your coilovers and camber settings.

I run 17X9 +24 all around with 235/40/17 tires. I have the front fenders rolled and coilovers. No rubbing at all.

Both the MB Competitions and Weapons are good wheels, and relatively light. I have personal experience with both.

 

so would it be better to run 17x9 +27 all around or 17x8 +22 all around?

 

That is kind of up to you, either will work. With the 17X9s you will need a bit of negative camber up front.

 

but the 17x9's wont be sticking out the sides if i run the tire sizes you said? thats the main thing im worried about is once i get the wheels and tires on there and lower it that its gonna be sticking out the wheel wells which looks like crap

 

The picture of my car in my sig has 17X9 +24 wheels with 235/40/17s in front and 245/45/17s in back. Those wheels stick out 3 mm more than MB 17X9s.
