Mazdaspeed springs (not Coilovers)

For the FD model run Mazda made Mazdaspeed springs that you could use over your OEM shocks or even a set of Mazdaspeed shocks. Does anyone have any information on these springs? I know Eibach made them but little else. I am looking for the spring rates of these springs and any other facts.

Many Thanks

Mazda does that for lots of models including the current Miata and RX8 and Mazda3, Mazda6 etc.

I personally don't have further details but I'd suspect they are about 20% stiffer and slightly lower. I remember reading about them somewhere but memory fades....

Mazda still sells the Eibach Pro Kit which are a little stiffer than stock springs, can be used with stock struts, and lower the car ~1inch. Do you have a picture of the springs? If so, you could prob. compare them to the pro kit.

Yep, I think those are the Eibach pro kit that Mazda Motorsports still sells. 25mm=0.943inches or so and the same spring rates.
