Mazdasoeed MS-01 Wheels-- Tires?

I have a set of MS-01 wheels Front is 17x8.5 +40 and the rears are 17X9.5 +38
What size tires should I go with. I do 90% of my time driving around town and the suspension is stock. Mazdaspeed springs and sway bars.

Many Thanks

go 255 in the rear, 225 on the front, or even 235

255/40/17 is the same overall diameter as stock and therefore the better size.

Check Tire Rack's site to see if what 225, 235 or 245 option and sidewall best matches the 255/40/17 overall diameter - around 25". Also do some research into what tire width will work on that offset w/o rubbing.

I would suggest 245 in the front, 265 in the rear.
