Arrow Max tire size on stock s5 rim

I have a 89 turbo 2 and i was wondering what is the max width tire i could put on these rims.

Because i wanted to get these tires

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....+Drag+Radial+2

and they only come in a 255/50-16

If they would not work, what drag radials do you guys use, and what size?

For that size, the recommended rim widths are 7-9". IIRC the TII stock wheels are 16x7, so it should be acceptable. Just don't expect much handling precision in the twisties on drag radials with such a big sidewall bulge.
