M3 wheels on Fd?

I just bought a set of '03 M3 wheels form my Friend for $400 with tires. Fronts are 18x8 and the rear are 18x9, I was just wondering if anyone has attempted to drop these into an Fd, If so how do they look, any pics i couldnt find any.

I don't think they'd fit, the bolt pattern is different.

Don't M3's use a 5-120 bolt pattern? If so, that definitely won't work. Plus the offsets on their wheels are usually really low (in the 35mm range).

Yep, and yep. Both the bolt pattern and offset(s) are wrong. How dumb can you be to spend $400 on something and not even know whether it will fit or not?

Well, at least he can sell them again for more than $400, M3 wheels are popular among the E36 M3 crowd and can go for like $1k or more if they're in good shape.

LOL!
I remember back when (1999) almost all the wheel/tire shops I talked to didn't know **** about offsets etc.. Most shop thought that when wheels are +50 offset was same as any other wheel with 50 offset.. didn't matter about the width.
