which lsd should i do??? help please

ok my rear end is clunking like a **** and its time to replace and just do it right the first time.....so the two routes i was thinking of going with was A: kaaz 1.5 way and B: i called pettet racing and they said for 1000 bucks ill get a rear end with a rx7 lsd in it which is similar to a turbo 2 rear end and they are supposed to be like bulliet proof....anyways they both cost about the same.....this car is NOT a daily driver and i mostly drive it on the weekends...i just want something that is gonna handle good and be able to handle a track day here and there with 500hp to the wheels ....any help would be great thanks

If I was going to spend that much, I'd go all in for the 8.8 and be done.

is the clunking produce by the diferrential or is it the bushings and pillow ***** on the rear suspensions?

is it clunking all the time while driving or only on stop and go?

if in fact the lsd is making noise you could get a S4 T2 lsd for less than 300 and install it your self if your good in DIY.

doubt thats your diff. do you feel it in the transmission when you shift? or in the body of the car more? How many miles on the car? do you have aftermarket bushings or Pillow *****? 99%of the time the clunking from the rear is either pillow ***** or your PPF (power Plant Frame) is cracked.

Let us know if the diff solves your problem and how like it. I assume you're installing new bushings with the new diff? We might not know if it was actually the diff or the bushings if that's the case.

What ratio did you decide to go with?
