lowering my car, do i need adjustable camber in back?

so im going to get kyb agx's and eibach pro kit springs which is going to lower my car about an inch. i have an 89 GTU, and know that my car stock does not have adjustable camber, so when i went to get an alignment at my friends shop, they said the stock camber cant be adjusted more than 5 degrees or so, so im getting tien camber plates in the front. the back is okay i think, but when i lower my car my question is; am i going to need to get camber bolts or plates in the back as well when i get the alignment after lowering the car? or do they even make camber bolts for the back? i know they make camber plates for the rear, but im not sure about the bolts. or most important, is a 1 inch drop even going to greatly effect the rear tires enough that i will need adjustable camber in the back? sorry if im not making much since . any replys would be helpful, Thanks.

The general wisdom is that a drop of 1" is the most that's reasonable before some serious camber effects come into play. Your drop is on the edge, so it may or may not be ok.

There is no such thing as camber plates or camber bolts for the rear. Neither would do a damned bit of good on that type of suspension. There are two options, an adjustable length bar that twists the center of the crossmember, and an adjustable inner link on the semi-trailing arms. Examples of these can be seen in the link below (at the bottom of the page).

thanks for that info man i appreciate it. but i do think i saw rear camber plates made by tien, or adjustable pillow ball mounts, same generalization. but im glad to know that an 1inch isnt that serious and may not effet the tires much. thanks again.

Some companies sell pillowball mounts, which are like the camber plates offered for the front, but aren't adjustable in any way(if that makes sense to you). Adjusting the shock tops at the rear will do nothing for camber.

A 1" drop may cause problems with tire wear, or it may not, it depends on a lot of things like tire size and type. As aways when doing suspension work you should get the car aligned afterwards, then you'll be able to better tell if there's a problem or not.
