lowered car and spare

i've lowered my fd and curious for those who have lowered theirs has anybody tried using a spare? thinking lowered + spare = no good, so might as well take the spare out.

Never had to use mine, but if the diameter is the same as the flat tire, then it should work.

Err, reading my post again, make that "If the spare is the same diameter as the flat tire BEFORE IT WENT FLAT, then it should work."
