Looking for wheels
I'm going to be picking up an FD pretty soon and I'm starting to look at wheels right now and I'm trying to figure out what's going to look good.
I'm thinking of going 18's but I need to figure everything out. I will be lowering the car later down the line so I really don't want to come into any kind of conflicts with rubbing.
What I'm looking for is just something nice, like a simple 5 spoke wheel with a nice fat lip for the rears.
I absolutly LOVE the HRE's but they are way too much for me.

I see you're in the Bay Area, HardHitter. Have you talked to Rishie at AutoRnD? They're located in Milpitas and are the Mazda suspension/wheel specialists for the Bay Area.
Here's alinky:

Rishie's friendly, knowldegable and easy to deal with. I don't work at ARD and have no affiliation with them except the fact that I'm a happy, repeat customer.
Good luck!

Actually, I have talked to Dana from AutoRnD when I had my RX-8 I looked for wheels from them. They carry a lot of high end wheels that basically I can't afford. All the wheels I wanted were 3000 or more + tires + mounting. I guess I have expensive taste lol. I'll be sure to go back to them and check them out again, I haven't been in a while, but I agree, they are great guys.
