looking for good tires

i really need good tires because im on my second set of used tires ($25 each) and ive been wanting to go to the track to get my 1/4 mile time and want to best grip i can get. so can anybody recommend good tires? im also interested in drag radials, but how street-friendly are they? please help

the stock turbo II wheels (16inches). the tires i have right now are 205/55/16 but i want 215/55/16 or wider (whatever fits)

Best drag radials on the market are Mickey Thompson ET streets. They're so good you'll break your rear end.

ya the mickey thompson tires are nice but they dont make them for my size (215/55/16)

you can squeeze the mt's on there. 255-50 was it?

i used 255-50's on stock t2 wheels with no problems.

You can't run M/Ts on the street! Is this just for drag or is this a regularly driven car that you are going to take drag racing?

I would not run wider tires than stock if they are "street tires".
