Trying to find wheels of either of those sizes under 17lbs at least the lighter the better. Since it's hard to find weights of wheels or wheels in the correct offset it's getting frustrating. Also, hard to find retailers.
So far I've found these wheels but not found where to buy all of them:
RS Watanabe Cyclone
SSR Comps
Volk CE28N
Buddyclub PQ 1F
Racing Sparco LE
5Zigen Beckets FN-01R
OZ Superlegara
Fiske FM-5
Racing Hart CP-035R

I'd like to stay under $300 a wheel

I'd like to figure out your exact fitment first if we can. And then work thru your options.

The ones that would be near your weight range in that size might be the

The fikse i don't believe will cut it. Everything else just might. Now on one piece wheels generally the lower the offset the heavier they will be. The wheel pad will contain a large amount of the weight.

What suspension are you running or will be running? Have you modifed your fenders? What size tires are you plannig to run? What are you doing with this car? Street? autox? roadrace? drift? Do you know what alignment settings you want?

There might be a few more questions but this will be a start.

Thanks. Had no clue offset had anything to do with weight, figured the rim was just attatched at a different point not a thicker pad but that makes since. They don't have to be 1-piece wheels, picked those just out of what I could actually find a weight on. Tried the local tire place but they where trying to get me to forget about weight since most people don't worry about it since their cars are not that fast. I would think it would have more of a difference on slower cars anyway but wither way I want at least a few pounds weight savings over stock otherwise I'd just stick with stock. Right now the cars only at 300hp but that's only limited by stock turbo/ic, I've got everything else including full EMS and boost controller plus cooling system, streetport, internals, clutch, flywheel, etc.
Right now it's sagging stock springs, I want coilovers but am still looking for a deal on those as well. The fenders are stock and will probably stay that way. I'd like to run 245's, aspect raito maybe 35 or 40. Right now it's just street but I would like to get into autox or drift.
Would 18's be an overall weight savings over 17s? I know the wheel would weigh more but you would be able to run a lower profile and not sure how much of a difference that makes in tire weight.
