life of stock rotors?
just curious... how many miles are the stock rotors usually good for in a FD under normal use (no track runs)? Is there a way to tell if they're going bad?

I think there is no way to tell how many miles the rotor needs to be replaced.
It really depends on how much braking, how fast the brakes are from.
The only telling is the thickness of the rotor. There is a minimum thickness guidelines that need to be followed, I don't know what that is, usually printed on the inside of the rotor.

thanks. I know there is no concrete answer, I guess I'm just curious as to around the miles that people replaced theirs.
How exactly do you measure the thickness? Is there a special tool?

I have 107k miles on my stockers and still going strong. I brake hard as a **** too. Running hawk hps pads all around. I do however anticipate having to change the rotors within the next year.
