Hey guys I don't really have the time right now to pull the springs off my car, but I'm very curious to know what the uncompressed length is of our springs (front and rear). Besides that what springs are you guys using from ground control in the coilover conversions...2.25" or 2.5" springs. Heck while we're at it if you don't mind tell me what spring rates you use and how much you have lowered your car...and why (I feel like a professor or something ).

The FC ground control kit I got came with 6" 400lb springs in front an 8" 325lb springs in the rear (IIRC). You can specify whatever you want.

They are 2.5" springs....

Wow, when did they change to a 6" front?
Before, it used to be a 7" front, I think - this was too tall unless you run their front camber plates.
To get decent ride height, the perches had to be adjusted all the way down.

For the rears, they used to be 8", but I think they are too short.
They need to be adjusted all the way up to get decent ride height.
I'd rather go with a 9" or better yet a 10" spring in rear.
With the 10", you can adjust it to the middle and actually adjust it up and down (by my eyeball).

I ordered my kit in August, and it didn't show up until September (backordered was the reason). I requested 6"/8" based on the reading I did of someone else who installed the setup. However, I'm not sure if my request had anything to do with what actually showed up.

I am still having issues with the kit- you need a set of spacers/washers if you are using the Koni racing strut inserts (8210s).
