KYB AGX + Tein S. Tech Install w/ Pics - my tires rub the springs

So I installed the new shocks and springs and everything was going great until I slapped the wheel back on and found that the tire now rubs the spring a little, I'm afraid to lower it off of the jack stands for fear of something bending or binding...

I am a little lost, do I just need wheel spacers or something??

It's the springs, they are wound by the looks of it much wider near the bottom then the stock and other aftermarket springs.I'm guessing that's why tein lists them as only for the N/A RX-7 .Get some different springs or spacers,it's not rocket science.

yes, spacers are safe. But to clear them you may have to bet bolt on spacers, rather than plate type. 15mm should be fine.

Okay, assuming it's safe to run spacers, would it still be safe to do so with springs that were meant for a different car?? I just don't know if i should run these despite the fact that they are meant for the non turbo? What could go wrong?

I'm open to either way, i wouldn't mind getting the tanabes so i'm still undecided.

A Turbo is heavier than an NA. Sag. more compression, who knows what else. Car might drop to much andif that happens you will need a rear camber adjuster and maybe front ones to get your alignment right.. Sell them and get the correct springs.

well i plan on getting a rear camber adjustment link and had considered the tein front pillow ball mount camber plate guys but was gonna hold off on them until i saw how bad the camber was with an alignment after drop and install of the rear camber link.

But i hear ya about getting the appropiate springs though, like i said i took them off and just installed the kybs with the old springs for now till i get the tanabe's. idk we'll see...thanks
