koni yellows
koni yellows
for some odd reason i cant find any info on these. ive heard there really good but when i go to koni's site nothing. anyone have any input on them or know where i can find information? found a set cheap and want to know comparisons to tokico and kyb.
If you're comparing between the three, Konis tend to have the best valving. Konis are valved more digressively and have a wider range of damping adjustment than either Tokico or KYB. This is from my interpretation of the Koni Sport (Yellow?) damper dyno.
i have the koni yellows and they are great.
i had KYB's (as do several of my friends on their cars) on my s5 TII and the konis seem to -as the guy agove stated- have a much more broad range of adjustment.
do a search on google and on here for sport compact car (SCC)'s project FD. they put koni yellows on their car and commented on them. i believe they said something about the koni yellows while on full soft setting were softer than the R1 shocks they replaced, but when at full stiff they are way too stiff and should not be run more than 7/8ths tight. they seemed to like them.
