Thumbs up Koni shocks in coil-overs re-built

I just got my Koni shocks back from a re-build at the Koni service center in KY. I bought the entire coil-over set-up online, so did not have much info on specs. I have switched the Hypercoil springs a couple times until I have a good spring rate on front and back. Shocks are double adjustable, but just never seemed to work as expected. I got a call while the shocks were at the rebuild shop that there were "extra" holes drilled in the valve in the shock. Koni re-built them with the original valve set-up . Installed them and what a difference. adjustment on both compression and rebound can now be 3-4 numbers less than before. Better control over washboard roads, no suspension bottoming, etc. Best money spent on the FD in years. Handles like a go-kart again. Many stupid grins on my face as I leave modern "sports cars" in the curves with my 20 year old car.

Nice. The Konis are a great shock.
