Koni+S-techs= High Ride Height?

I just installed the rear koni yellow shocks on my FD (SET ON LOWEST BUTTOM PERCH SETTING) and Tein S-techs, and my car is sitting almost stock ride height maybe even higher! I re-used the buttom rubber that sits on the perch cup but i doubt it would cause a ride height difference. The shock mount bolt is tightened all the way down, and the springs are sitting in the right place.

I have driven around and allowed it to settle in also.

What could cause the back to sit so high?

Thats probably because the stock springs were pretty worn, this is not unusual. If you want a lower ride i suggest getting coilovers.

I had the s-techs before hand. The car is supossed to be VERY low with S-techs and konis on lowest perch.

You probably installed the spring perch upside down on the Konis. It happens and it will increase the ride height. Ask me how I know.

yup I just finished the whole thing and I realized I installed the rear perch cups upside down............ I also just realized I forgot to put the film on one of the shocks... Ill leave that be for now

BTW overall the koni feel is GREAT. Car is more responsive and grippy compared to R1 shocks. The rear is SLAMMED also. I may set it at the middle perch later on.
