Koni + GC Assembly Questions. Very loose springs. Did I do something wrong? *Pics*

Hello. I spent some time over the weekend assembling my koni yellows and GC coilovers for my FD. Here's what I ended up with:

If the first picture, the front GC collars are moved up on the koni shocks to make the picture look nice. The second picture is what they really look like
The rear assembly can lock the spring in when the collar is all the way down and the adjustment nut is all the way up, but the front is pretty helpless.
I know that the weight of the car will compress the shocks and seat everything, but I've never seen a shock / coilover setup with this much slack and I was just concerned. Should I be???
Thank you for your help

This is normal with this kit. Once the car compresses, there's no issue—though I'd want to seat that upper rubber isolator onto the upper hat rather than on the spring.
if you are running without a swaybar on either end, you're gonna wanna get helper springs (spring can unseat in a corner with a bump, and land funny). otherwise it doesnt matter. yellows just have a lot of stroke since theyre designed to work with stock springs

For the rates people generally use on Koni Sport adjustables on the FD, a rear sway bar is good to have.
If you go with a more race setup with stiffer springs, then maybe you won't *need* a rear sway bar but it does help in tuning cornering attitude and handling balance.
