I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with koni shocks. My bro just got some of the DA's for his firebird and i was shocked to see how terrible the overall fit and finish of the shocks were. We got the shocks from tirerack and they were the last pair they had, so maybe that says something. When we got them, they arrived in a wrong box, the paint on the shocks was already a little chipped, and one of the shocks wasn't painted at all in some areas! The adjustment **** for rebound was also missing!

I'm sure tire rack is accountable for the wrong box and missing ****, but the paint issues are all koni. I have seen 2 other sets of koni shocks and they both looked good when they came. Has koni been slipping up lately? This is kinda disappointing.

Luckily, tirerack is going to take these back and send us another pair.

 

Yeah, return those. Everytime I bought Konis from a quality retailer, they have arrived brand new and complete.
