keep or sell???

I just got a set of FD rims for my FC. of corse they dont fit in the front. These rims are great shape, I hate to let them go, but they want fit. Even if I do what I need to, to make it fit, they want handle right. What do you guys think? keep these bad boys, or sell them and get some other rims? Chris

It's totally up to you, but since you have them already I thought I could help out your dilemna. I don't think you would have any problems with the use of "H & R hubcentric spacers, with studs built in". This is the best type of spacer to use, if need be, because you bolt the spacer to the hub and the spacer to the wheel. This way you will not have to worry about getting longer studs for your hub, or the fact that your lugnuts will not get a complete grip on the factory stud.

In any case, they come in 5, 15, and 25 mm spacers. Since the stock FD wheel is 8" and +50mm offset, I would suggest using the 15mm spacer for the front and rear. Then, if lowered, I would stagger a 225/45 16 in the front and a 245/45 on the rear. This should work fine, If you think it will rub then run a 205/55 up front or 215/45.

The price of these spacers is $139.95 to 109.95 list or some ****. I know the price for the 15's because I just ordered a set for another FC w/ FD's. Remember that this is just for a pair, the price for the "+15mm hubcentric spacer w/studs" is $105.00 + shipping and any applicable taxes that may apply. If you're out of Cali you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps you out.
