K Sport coilovers for FD. Your Opinion?

So here is the thing I am looking for a good coilover set and have been doing a bit of searching. I noticed K-Sports Kontrol Pro kit for the FD but since they are a relatively new company I have not really seen anyone with these on an FD or anything for that matter. I have only heard good things though. Here is the link:http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilove...roduct_id=cd01
Also I have been given the opportunity to buy these new at 35% off putting them from an original MSRP of $1300 to about $700 which is a ridiculous deal. And before anyone asks they are from an authorized dealer not fakes.
So what's your opinion?

No real world experience but figure they are cheap for a reason.

Before I put my Meagans on I got all kinds of feedback telling me they were crap. Well I totally disagree. The performance on the street is phenominal. Way better than the Tokicos I was running. I don't do track so maybe they aren't as good as some others out there in that aspect, but my guess is that these or any other halfway reputable coilover is capable of anything most of us will encounter.

ebay.
K-sport = Megan = SS AutoChrome = GodSpeed = Chinese knockoff.

A set of Teins isn't much more expensive:
900 bucks:

Yeah I mostly drive it on the street so that is why I am looking at the Kontrol pros. Also looking at K-sports site they don't offer the GT for FD's. Otherwise I would have considered getting those. I do appreciate all of your inputs but I think I am leaning towards buying them a little more haha. I'm still rolling on stock susp so it will be a welcome improvement. Also anyone with pics of them installed?

They made them for the Supra and Skyline. They are great bang for the buck coilovers, don't see why not for the FD.

I know a few guys running K-Sports for Auto-X. They've all been using them for years without any problems and one routinely wins SCCA events using them. So I say go for it.

I have had them on mine since 2007 it sits all winter long and drives in the summer you just have to clean them up once in a wile and grease the springs were they meet the adjusters that way they don't squeak
Never had a prob with them

I would not recommend these, I had a friend who had multiple problems with these coilovers and he eventually ditched them for higher quality coils.

You get what they pay for. A friend runs them on his VW on the street and they feel good. Although if I were the one making the decision on what to buy, I'd look into higher quality options.

I have owned k sport, d2, and megan for other applications, and have ridden in cars with godspeed. Honestly ksport, d2, and megan felt pretty much the same, though they weren't all on the same vehicle, or type of vehicle. I will say that they all improved handling, over stock, and even over my agx and springs that I had.
I would also like to make it clear that when I rode in my friends car with godspeed, I felt they were no where close the same quality as the others, the ride quality was much worse, the build quality didnt seem as nice when we installed them on his 240.
I am not saying any are great by any means. I would also say if you are planning to track your car often I would recommend looking elsewhere.
hope that helps.
