Just thought of this ... G35 Wheels on FC

No reason why they wouldn't work .. they are 19's though ... thats the only thing i may think will make the car a bit "awkward looking"

The tires are too tall, and the offset is probably too big.

those wheels are

fronts - 19x8 +30mm
rears - 19x8.5 +33mm

problems imo are
#1 they are big and heavy (4x4 FC!)
#2 they don't come cheap either

seriously 19x8 is a pizza cutter size
if you want 8" wide aim for a 15" or 16"

Each have their own tatse. But these are just too tall period. 235/40/19 and 245/40/19 are the sizes. A stock 205/55/16 is 24.88" diameter or tall, the 245/40/19 is 26.72" tall!!! nearly 2" taller. You'd have to lower the car a full inch to get it STOCk ride height, but your wheels will be so far into the wheel wells they'll be rubbing everything. They will be a full 2" deeper into the fender wells with lowering it only 1" just to get it stock height!!

true, but i don't understand why you think he'd run stock g35 tire sizes?

run a 30 or 35 series to get the overall wheel tire diameter back to near stock.
like 225/35/19

btw i still think these wheels are dumb for a FC

they would be HUGE, but I think it would look sick if your car had a a kit and was hella low.

but they should actually be pretty light considering they are forged, and you will barely have any tire on there.

but why not 350z wheels? they are 18 inch(maybe even some 17 inch?), and should have about the same offsets... no?

nice. I'd get them. even if you ended up not liking how they look on your FC, I'm sure you could just sell them for more than that.

IMHO anything over 17's looks silly on an FC, the proportions are all wrong. 19's look especially weird. Even though they're 35 series tires, they're still too tall, by about half an inch. It's not that bad, but it will throw the speedo off some and will make the gearing taller.

Wheels that big are heavy and bad for handling, and having the weight of the rim so far out is bad for acceleration due to a large moment of inertia.

I mean... to each his own... however if you are looking to give the car a sleek look... This tire/wheel combo is not my idea of a good look.... HOWEVER its not my car... I am more of a low to the ground...sleeper look.

Anyway....good luck man!

Try the 18' G35 wheels off of the coupe, they should be the same offsets and size as the 350Z wheels, 18x8F and 18x8.5R with +35 on both. I believe that's it, don't hold me to it.
They fit the FC no prob, the 350z wheels that is.

I think it'd look pretty good. Try and it and if it doesn't work take them off. Or do you not have them yet?

no he trying to make sure everything fits ok before he buys them. but i think it would look good if he has a kit on his fc it or a S5 with a lip otherwise they would look like a 4x4

my brother wanted to put those rims on his 2001 maxima
